We're riding the boho wave with some super cute DIY rattan jewelry organizers because we sorta kinda love jewelry and if you're reading this.. You probably do too. 😉 The best part is that this DIY doubles as the perfect wall decor too!
- 24" Cane webbing (We got ours from Etsy!)
- Gorilla Glue Gel
- Long pins
- 2 Embroidery hoops
- Scissors
- Heavy objects (coasters, books, rocks, etc)
Lay out the cane webbing face down, using whatever heavy objects you have laying around the house! (Cane webbing is usually pretty stiff so you'll want something heavy to weigh it down.) Remove the outer frame of your embroidery hoops and place them on the cane webbing.
Grab you Gorilla Glue and put a thick layer all around the rim of the first embroidery hoop! Flip it over onto the cane webbing and press it down for a few minutes to let the glue get tacky. Then grab a book or tray to lay on top of the hoop to hold it down while it dries! *Repeat for the second embroidery hoop!*
After 2-3 hours of letting the glue dry, remove all your heavy objects and flip the hoop and cane webbing over! Use your scissors to cut along the outside of each embroidery hoop to trim off the excess!
Now we add the hooks! This part is totally customizable. You can add them in wherever you'd like and do however many you want! Just bend each pink to form a short hook and then insert them into the holes in the cane webbing. You'll want to super glue them down on the back side so they stay put!
You can put up your (Pura Vida🤗) earrings by opening the enclosure and hooking them through the cane webbing! Use the pink hooks to hang all your necklaces (and bracelets) and even clip on any hair barretts or pins! Now you're jewelry is organized and your wall is looking pretty! 🙌💗
