Metal is lightly painted on with a super thin coat. I wore it one time and now you can see brass on probably 25% of the beads. Not good quality. Don’t waste your money. They even sent me a replacement after sending in pictures and the customer replacement did the same thing. I don’t even get water near or on them, not wearing at the gym or anything. Just poor quality.

Only got one wear of it, the elastic is durable but the enamel peeled off so unbelievably quickly. Half the braclet is pink and my skin was very green... :( sorry Pura Vida but I didn't like this one.
