Many of us take for granted the fact that we can visit the dentist every six months or yearly to get our teeth cleaned and or get needed dental work done. Many people in America and across the world don’t have that luxury. Thanks to Dental Care for Children, many here in the states and around the world, are finally receiving the dental care they badly need. Their mission, is to provide dental services for underprivileged children around the world who don’t have access to adequate dental care.




Dental care for the most part is over looked until there is a noticeable problem and we truly need it. If we are lucky enough to own a toothbrush, we may brush our teeth everyday because it’s routine and makes us feel better, but not always because we are actively thinking we are preventing cavities or worse if we don’t. We might go days, or even weeks to months before realizing that an urgent visit to the dentist is really needed. But, what if you couldn’t call a dentist to help with your urgent problem? Unfortunately, many people deal with this problem all the time. Having excruciating toothache and knowing that you can’t afford to visit a dentist because you can’t afford the cost and bills, only makes it worse. Sadly, this is the reality for many children around the world who don’t have access to dental care. Many children who are underprivileged, see the dentist every few years if they are lucky, but some don’t ever get the opportunity to see a dentist. No one should have to live with unbearable pain, especially children.
