Music Wednesday #2: Meet Jessie Ware “Running” (Disclosure Remix)

Have you heard of South London singer Jessie Ware? How about the talented UK duo Disclosure? If you are a fan of the UK’s arthouse scene, then you might be able to recognize the grand vocals of this mighty lady. For everyone else, I’m sure you’ll be stoked if you haven’t yet heard of this powerhouse. I’ve heard not to listen to Ware’s solo material expecting to hear those skittering beats to SBTRKT’s “Right Thing to Do”, but her excellent new single “Running” showcases her fantastic vocal performance. Combine that with brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence and “Running” Disclosure Remix is blowing the roof off every club in town. It’s one that you just want to crank up, especially towards the end. “Running” has epic guitar melody, epic bursting horn sections and overall that smooth tropical throb. This track is sick.
