The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV), is a very powerful collective working to end the violence in our lives.
This wonderful coalition believes violence against women and children is rooted from the threat and force to accomplish and maintain control over others in intimate relationships as well as societal abuse of power and domination.

Unfortunately, there are many people dealing with different forms of violence on a day to day basis. Most of us could relate whether because we ourselves endured violence or know someone close to us who has. It is common and that’s a fact. Violence is not just domestic, but different forms of sexism, racism, homophobia, classism, anti-Semitism, able-bodyism, ageism and other oppressions.

Therefore, it is the mission of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence to work for major societal changes necessary to eliminate both personal and societal violence against all women and children.
