Meet Jared Mehr, the King of the String

Experience: Has been in Sales for about a year- started in Commercial Real Estate and began working with Pura Vida in August.

Favorite thing about Pura Vida role: Loves being able to travel to all the different trade shows- has attended MAGIC in Las Vegas, Project in New York, and Surf Expo in Orlando, among numerous others since being part of the team.  It is great being able to see what other brands are displaying for the up and coming seasons and meeting buyers for companies that he has always been a fan of.  It is also amazing to see how much the company is able to expand as sales grow!

What he has learned from Sales: Maintaining good relationships and keeping open lines of communication is the key to success.

How he got involved with Pura Vida: Jared went to school at San Diego State with the founders of the company, Griffin and Paul and has knows them for almost 7 years now.  He believed in their mission and product ever since they got back from their surf trip in Costa Rica and started helping out as soon as things started to get crazy!

Favorite part of working for Pura Vida: Gets to hang out with his best friends all day and loves that the company is working towards a good cause.

Hobbies outside of work: Watching and playing hockey, catching his favorite DJs and clubs and music festivals, staying active outdoors.

Personal Style: Jared is always rockin’ a braided and 2 original bracelets, and will never leave home without a fresh pair of kicks
